AN IMMERSIVE ART SHOW EXPLORING THE PORTALS OF GRIEF

NOW SHOWING IN DENVER, COLORADO | MAY 22, 2026 - JUNE 14, 2026

There is an intimacy in grief that is not widely told. There is a pulsing loneliness to the experience of loss that deserves witness. Our world is aching with grief, it is running rivers between us and yet there is a deafening silence.

Grief is a garden within asking to be explored without.

MEET THE ARTISTS

  • Founder / Creator

    Kat is an artist and writer living in Denver, CO. Her work explores the unnamable fractals of the human experience through poetry, botanical artistry, and theater.

  • Production Assistant / Movement Coordinator / Dancer

    Amanda is a choreographer, dancer, and movement educator whose work lives at the intersection of art, community, and purpose. • LPC, ATR, Founder of How to Play in the Dark

    Danielle is a Somatic, Art & Play Therapist and Grief Ritualist, who believes healing begins when we turn toward our struggles—and start to play with them. With a Master’s in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy from Naropa University, she has spent the past decade creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and each other through creativity, emotion, and embodied presence.

    She has designed and facilitated hundreds of transformative experiences—from intimate grief rituals and expressive arts sessions to immersive group journeys and 1:1 support. Danielle’s work blends clinical grounding with sacred ritual and playful exploration, creating environments where people feel safe enough to reveal their full truth—where nothing needs to be fixed or hidden.

    She believes that the most powerful transformations happen through direct experience and in community—when the body feels safe enough to soften, and the soul feels free enough to emerge.

  • Artist, Graphic Designer

    Alida Louise is an artist, graphic designer and deep lover of all aspects of nature. Growing her own garden, she uses a process called eco-printing to create pattern designs on fabric, using plants, that are then sewn into dresses. From a painter's perspective, she gravitates towards nature inspired mediums and silhouettes.

you must be able
to do three things:
to love what is mortal;
to hold it

against your bones knowing
your own life depends on it;
and, when the time comes to let it go,
to let it go.
